Product description
For this edition of Kilchoman 100% Islay Whisky, the island whisky was distilled from the 2011, 2012 and 2013 vintages and matured for 11 years in just 16 ex-Oloroso sherry casks. This cask maturation gives the Islay whisky rich aromas of dried fruit with a balanced smoky undertone of around 20 PPM peat smoke, coated in citrus sweetness and spice. With the 100% Islay bottling, Kilchoman emphasises its consistent 100% Islay philosophy, as these editions are undoubtedly among the most impressive Scottish Single Malts, as they are the only Single Farm Single Malt on the market. No other distillery processes barley from its own fields directly in front of the distillery. Every step of the production process at Kilchoman takes place on site on Islay. This is exactly what makes Kilchoman so unique and unmistakable.

After more than 125 years, the Kilchoman farm distillery is the first new distillery to be built on the island of Islay.
