Product description
The name for the Ki No Bi Sei Gin comes from the Japanese word 'Sei', which translates as 'strength'. The naming is based on the 54.5% vol. which makes the Gin the Japanese relative of Navy Strength Gins. The Sei Gin by Ki No Bi from The Kyoto Distillery is created from a rice alcohol to which regional ingredients such as yuzu, ginger and Gyokuro tea are added. A total of 11 botaniclas are found in the gin, all of which are harvested at the height of the season, macerated separately and distilled. The distillates are then blended together and reduced to drinking strength with Fushimi water from the Tsuki-no-Katsura sake brewery.
