Product description
Malt from German barley was mashed and fermented for the J.B.G. Münsterländer. The raw spirit was distilled from this malted barley mash in 2014. The raw spirit was distilled a second time in three stages on a fine still before it was allowed to mature in American white oak barrels. The single malt matured for 13 years is the oldest whisky in the distillery's history. The casks in which the Münsterland single malt whisky is stored are kept on the farm in the distillery's old grain store. Between the almost 200-year-old walls of the building, the whisky is hardly exposed to any temperature fluctuations and can mature in peace. The whisky is bottled at 43% vol. and without the addition of colour.
