Scottish tradition meets Caribbean joie de vivre in this Glenfiddich. This Glenfiddich, post-matured in rum casks, shows a beautiful combination of whisky and rum. 21-year-old malts matured in oak casks are stored again for about four months in casks that previously held rum.

Spannend, und definitiv die beste Rum - Nachreifung die ich getrunken habe, ich vermute dass die relativ kurze Nachreifung bei einem 21 y Malt genau richtig ist und nicht zu extrem draufdrückt. Tropisch-fruchtig süß in der Nase und anfangs auch im Geschmack, dann kommt das hohe Alter zum tragen. Die weit verbesserte Version des Fire & Cane von Glenfiddich, ohne Rauch natürlich…
