Product description
This special bottling was created for the 130th anniversary of Flor de Caña rum from Nicaragua. Produced directly at the San Antonio sugar factory at the foot of an active volcano, Flor de Caña belongs to the "Compañía Licorera de Nicaragua", founded in 1890. The rum itself matured for about 20 years in selected bourbon barrels. The result is a premium rum with a taste to be discovered. Flor de Caña is the only rum brand in the world that can call itself 'slow aged'. With this certification, the US government agency ensures that the maturation process in the oak barrel is natural and not accelerated. In addition, the distillery produces with 100% renewable energy, is Fair Trade certified and also uses recycled glass for its bottles.
