Product description
For Deanston Virgin Oak, some casks were blended with young whisky and finished in burnt-out American oak casks.
The Deanston distillery was built in the premises of an old cotton mill. Everywhere in the premises there is the flair of the 19th century. After closing in the mid-1980s, production resumed in 1991.

Kommentar: Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der Abgang ist lang und wird immer süßer. Er hat viele Facetten, ist süffig und passt sehr gut in den Sommer.

Kommentar: vanille kommt sofort, dazu banane mit süsse und malz. Im geschmack wieder banane, dazu eiche und leichter pfeffer, prickelnd frisch, eiche kommt. Insgesamt ein guter whisky zu einem top preis. Grade jetzt im sommer, wenn es nicht grade ein premium whisky sein muss eine sehr gute wahl.

Helles Holz, etwas streng, das Aroma wirkt etwas einfach.
Geschmacklich legt er dann deutlich zu, da kommt Honig und Vanille hinzu. Er wirkt jetzt lieblicher, gefälliger.
