Product description
The Story of the Spaniard is the first release of its kind and, in addition to the various oak casks, 48% is matured in sherry casks and 25% in Spanish red wine casks. The whiskies used for this Blend all come from Highlands distilleries in and around the regions of Doune, Longmorn, Alness and Aberlour. The name is a reference to an encounter that founder John Glaser had many years ago on a trip to Spain. There, in one of the many smoky village bars, he met an elderly gentleman who told him about the local sherry wines and thus aroused his interest.
