Coillmor Bavaria x Toscana Caberlot comes from the Bavarian Liebl distillery and matured for eight years in bourbon barrels from Early Times. Afterwards, the malt was finished for another 12 months in an extremely rare Caberlot red wine cask from the Carnasciale winery in Tuscany. The Caberlot is a red wine rarity and is made from a natural crossing of the grapes Cabernet Franc and Merlot and then stored in oak barrels.

The Distillery: Liebl
The Liebl distillery in Bad Kötzting in the Bavarian Forest has been producing spirits since the 1970s. The Liebl family started with Bärwurz and Blutwurz Schnapps and over the years added further Brandies, Spirits and Liqueurs. In the meantime, the Liebl range also includes the home-distilled Whisky 'Coillmor', as well as Gin and Rum.

Aroma: Swinger Club Teppich, vergorener Spinat mit Sauerkraut, 3 Wochen alte Windel die hinter Omas Sockenschublade klemmt.
Geschmack: Unheimlich! Unheilig! Gottlos!
Da hat doch einer ins Fass gestuhlt.
Abgang: Ein langer Abgang. Den wollen wir alle beim Whisky. Bei diesem Tropfen habe ich mir einen möglichst kurzen Abgang gewünscht. Schade.
Kommentar: Als Grillanzünder vielleicht... aber hinterher schmeckt das Fleisch auch noch so... Hürk

Aroma: Kräftige Fruchtnote, weintönig mit Rosinen, Beeren, Pflaumen. Dazu auch Vanille und Toffee und hellere Früchte wie Apfel
Geschmack: Intensiver Antritt mit Rotweinnoten, Rosinen und anderen dunkel Früchten, außerdem würzige Eichennoten mit Walnüssen, Schokolade, Tannine
Abgang: Lang und intensiv, die dunklen Früchte halten sich lange, die Schokolade tritt mehr in den Vordergrund
Kommentar: Sehr komplexer, dennoch weicher und süffiger Whisky, mit intensiven dunklen Früchten und Eichenaromen. Lecker.

Geschmack: Rosinen, Cassis und Zartbitterschokolade mit der Süße von Honig und Vanille.
Abgang: Füllig, warm und langanhaltend.
