Product description
Bushmills Causeway Collection Madeira Cask is another edition in the Causeway Collection. It is inspired by the natural spectacle of the Giant's Causeway, which consists of around 40,000 basalt columns that form a causeway. The strictly limited Single Malt Whiskey, which is only available in Germany, was triple distilled and initially matured for six years in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks before being refined for a further 19 years in rare Madeira casks. It was then bottled at cask strength at 50.3% vol.

The Old Bushmills Distillery is probably the oldest licensed Whiskey distillery in the world - its licence dates back to 1608. It was officially founded in 1784 by Hugh Anderson in the Northern Irish town of Bushmills. Since then, Bushmills has been synonymous with traditionally triple-distilled, mild Irish Whiskey. Dram auf der InterWhiskey: Mit sehr viel Zeit und etwas Wasser voller Genuss. reife und süsse Frucht, dunkle Früchte, Weintrauben, Madeira, Sherry, Karamel mit Röstaromen - kraftvoll und angenehm zugleich mit nicht übertriebener Eichenwürze der 25 Jahre - sehr begeisternd, dennoch erscheint er mir ziemlich überpreist
Knappe 5 Sterne - das Nosing allerdings "göttlich"
