Buckingham Palace Coronation Gin from England is made from hand-picked plants from the royal palace gardens in small batches. These include hawthorn berries and lemon verbena. The gin was launched to mark the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, which took place on 6 May 2023. The profits from sales of the gin also go to the Royal Collection Trust, which looks after the royal family's collections and palaces.

Aroma: Zarte Rosen- und Orangennoten mit einem Hauch Zitrus und Wacholder.
Geschmack: Zitrus und Anklänge von Wacholder verbinden sich mit Akzenten von süßlichen Beeren.
Abgang: Anhaltend und würzig mit feinen Kräuternoten.

Kommentar: alles in allem geschmacklich schön rund mit Wacholder, Citrus, Beeren und floralen Noten. Die "Coronation-Story" macht hier allerdings den Preis, welchen ich ehrlich gesagt deutlich zu hoch angesetzt finde.
