The Rhum Agricole Baie des Trésors is produced at the Habitation Le Galion. A sugar cane factory was built on the historic estate in the middle of the 19th century and is still the only one operating on the Caribbean island of Martinique today. Since 2018, Baie des Trésors has also been producing rum.

Baie des Trésors, named after the legendary treasure bay Baie du Trésor, is located on the site of the Habitation Galion, which was purchased by Eugène Eustache in 1849. Eustache built a sugar cane factory in 1863, which is still in operation in Martinique today. After his death, his son-in-law Emile Bougenot took over, under whose management the factory also produced rum. In 1895, after a major drought, Bougenot built a cistern, which was used as a temple by the Indian community and can still be visited today. Despite declining sugar cane yields, the factory modernised in the 20th century and was taken over by SAEM in 1981. In 2018, the company returned to the rum business with the founding of Baie des Trésors.
