Variété Single Malt Whisky
Arôme Apple and pear with herbal notes and fresh fruit, subtle hints of honey and warming spices before the typical Kilchoman peat smoke takes over.
Bouche Buttery texture that continues throughout. Facets of dried lemon and apricot combine with cinnamon and nutmeg. Notes of toasted oak and sweet peat smoke follow towards the end.
Finale Dried fruits, marzipan and gentle ginger notes combine to a sweet-spicy result. Peat smoke with nuances of citrus oil lingers a little longer in the mouth and throat.

Description du produit
Distilled in 2016, Kilchoman Cognac Cask Matured is the distillery's first bottling to be matured entirely in 32 barriques that were previously topped with cognac. The storage in the special barrels and the subsequent vatting bring together fruity notes and a hint of spices with intense accents of smoke. Bottled at 50% vol. and without colouring or cold filtering.
