Arôme Malt bread, toffee apple, banana bread, citrus, lavender, pears, sea salt and a hint of peat smoke.
Bouche Fresh vanilla and fragrant peat smoke with caramel, barley flowers, sultanas and a hint of spicy oak tannins.
Finale Silky viscosity with fresh pita bread, butter and honey.

Description du produit
For the 13th edition of Kilchoman 100% Islay, the 2012, 2013 and 2014 harvest vintages were used. The Single Malt is made from Publican barley and matured for at least eight years in 44 bourbon casks at the famous Buffalo Trace Distillery. The combination of lightly peated barley matures in Bourbon and Sherry casks, resulting in a balanced, sweet, fruity result with maritime peat smoke notes.

Kommentar: Für Fans von endemischen Sorten ist dieser Whisky ein Muss. From Barley To Bottle, das bietet keiner und muss unterstützt werden, und dann noch der eigene, sympathische Geschmack! Cheers!

Kommentar: WOW ... die Reise beginnt bei einer sehr interessante Nase - für die man sich schon mal Zeit nehmen sollte ... geschmacklich zuerst scheinbar straight forward wandelt er das ganz schnell in eine Vielfalt, die man erst mal ergründen muss, bevor der Abgang nochmal alles rumdreht :) ... WOW !!!
