Corralejo Tequila Añejo is a tequila distilled in Column Stills and copper Pot Stills from 100% Blue Weber agave, aged for one year in a handpicked selection of barrels with a maximum capacity of 300 litres. The harvested agaves for Corralejo Tequila vary in age between 6-15 years and are cooked in a traditional stone oven at 93 degrees for 27 hours. The Hacienda Corralejo was the birthplace of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costillo, who is known for starting the Mexican War of Independence and rose to become a national hero. It was the first estate in Mexico to produce tequila commercially and as such is one of the select few tequila distilleries that have the right to produce tequila in a province other than Jalisco.

Tequilera Corralejo is one of Mexico's most traditional distilleries. Founded on the grounds of the historic Hacienda Corralejo, the birthplace of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, a Mexican national hero, it combines cultural heritage with centuries of tequila expertise. As one of the first distilleries in Mexico, Corralejo produced Tequila on a large scale – and to this day remains one of the few officially authorised to produce Tequila outside the Jalisco region.
