Aroma: Kräftiger Rauch – etwas zu übertrieben künstlich aufgetragen und eher phenolisch mit maritimen Ansätzen. Zitrusfrucht und Malzsüße. Man merkt die Jugend, wobei doch erstaunlich dezente Eichennoten mitschwingen. (20)
Geschmack: Nicht mehr ganz so süß, eher maritim mit Algen, Jod und eine schwache Ledernote. Ich vermisse jedoch Kräuter und eine ausgeprägtere Fruchtkomponente (wieder Zitrusfrucht, aber eher nur so im Hintergrund). Etwas erinnert mich bei längerer Verweildauer im Mund an Asche. (21)
Abgang: Mittellang und im Wesentlichen recht eindimensional. Tippe noch auf einen leicht pfeffrigen Touch. Der Rauch bleibt dominierend. (19)
Kommentar: Für den Preis darf man natürlich nicht zu viel erwarten und so stellt sich trotz mangelnder Vielfältigkeit letztendlich doch eine Zufriedenheit beim Genuss ein. Die frühere Ausgabe aus dem Jahr 2017 hatte mich mehr beeindruckt. Wer explizit auf rauchige Drams steht, wird jedoch ganz sicher nicht enttäuscht sein. (20)
