Product description
14 years in a single Bourbon cask made the Glenallachie Single Malt, produced exclusively by Billy Walker for the German market, into a full-bodied whisky with rich buttersotch, vanilla and syrup notes, integrated into the characteristic honey facets of the Speyside distillery. You will be surprised how excellent this single cask bottling presents itself at 56.3% vol. at cask strength, without chill-filtering and without the addition of colouring. With a few drops of water, this special Glenallchie is silky-creamy and subtly floral. GlenAllachie is a relatively young distillery in Speyside, Scotland, which was taken over by a team led by Billy Walker in 2017. The name comes from the Gaelic and means 'valley of stones'. In 2017, the distillery was purchased by The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Ltd, a consortium led by Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson. The three together bring over 100 years of experience in the whisky industry. The capital 'A' in GlenAllachie is a nod to the GlenDronach and BenRiach distilleries that Billy Walker previously managed.
