Rhum JM distillery

The J.M rum distillery is located in a remote location in Macouba in the north of Martinique and was named after its founder Jean-Marie Martin. He bought the former Fonds-Préville sugar factory in 1845 and converted it into a distillery.

The history of the distillery dates back to the late 18th century, when Antoine Leroux-Préville acquired the 164-hectare plot of land around 1790 and built the sugar factory there.

Go on a journey of discovery with Ben Lüning and get to know the Rhum JM Distillery in our latest distillery video.
