In addition to the typical juniper berries, the Gin Gold 999.9 contains high-quality botanicals such as almonds, violets, mandarins and tonka beans. The result: Spicy and fruity aromatic. The still is an archaeological find that was sold to local distiller Paul Devoille. The name is borrowed from fine gold with 99.9% purity.

The Distillery:
Originally founded in 1859 as a fruit distillery, the product range of the French distillery Paul Devoille from Fougerolles now includes a diverse selection of fine spirits. Since 2021, the company's own Devoille Single Malt Whisky has also enriched the portfolio. Another highlight: the Gin Gold 999.9, distilled in an extraordinary gold still that was discovered in Alsace at the end of the 20th century.

Andreason 16.10.2023Aroma: viele sanfte florale Noten, was da an Kräutern alles drin ist, dafür fehlt mir die Erfahrung. Wenige sind es jedenfalls nicht
Geschmack: Wachholderbeeren, Ingwer auf jeden Fall, das wird wohl die Schärfe sein, Mandeln könnten drin sein
Abgang: lange anhaltend mit leichtem Zimt Geschmack
Kommentar: Schmeckt sehr interessant. Da ich mit Gin jedoch keine Erfahrung habe, bin ich mir nicht sicher ob und wie man in mit Tonic mixt. Habe ihn pur getrunken und danach im Verhältnis 1 Teil Gin 3 Teile Tonic gemixt. Das hat mir dann besser geschmeckt. -
