	Variété	Molasses rum
	Arôme	Initially caramel, vanilla, chocolate and molasses with toffee. After a short time, roasted wood flavours, nutty notes of brown sugar, fruity accents with blackcurrant notes and fruit cake with pears and sultanas develop.
	Bouche	Mild with fruit cake, later spicy with ginger, followed by hints of caramel and nutty notes. Some marzipan with nougat and muscovado sugar unfold towards the end.
	Finale	Medium to long, characterised by caramel with a light nuttiness and spicy notes. Facets of chocolate-nut-rum-chocolate remain creamy with a balanced woody spiciness and conclude with accents of crème brûlée.
	Maturation	Virgin American Oak, ex-Bourbon and ex-Whiskey barrels

Description du produit

Trasper's rum has its origins in Panama. The rum is distilled from molasses using the column still method and then aged for 15 years in fresh American oak barrels and ex-bourbon barrels. In Panama's tropical climate, the finely sweet result develops fruity notes with subtle wood flavours. The brand is based on the adventures of Juan Paz, a distiller's son from Panama, who inherited his passion for rum from his father and who initially sold rum to skippers and captains on the Panama Canal.

Aroma: Zunächst Karamell, Vanille, Schokolade und Melasse mit Toffee. Nach kurzer Zeit entwickeln sich Röstaromen von Holz, nussige Noten von braunem Zucker, fruchtige Akzente mit Johannisbeernoten und Früchtekuchen mit Birnen und Rosinen.

Geschmack: Mild mit Früchtekuchen, später würzig mit Ingwer, dann folgen Anklänge von Karamell und nussige Noten. Etwas Marzipan mit Nougat und Muscovadozucker entfalten sich zum Ende hin.

Abgang: Mittellang bis lang, geprägt von Karamell mit leichter Nussigkeit, dazu Gewürznoten. Facetten von Schoko-Nuss-Rum Schokolade bleiben cremig mit einer ausgewogenen Holzwürze bestehen und schließen mit Akzenten von Creme Brûlée.
