This 12-year-old Tomatin single malt matured for a full 12 years in first-fill sherry casks and is now part of the Tomatin range. This has made the balanced and fruity whisky a special release from the Highland distillery, which is otherwise better known for its different and excellent cask finishes.

Tomatin has been a rising star among the Scottish distilleries since the beginning of the millennium. The Highland distillery was the biggest Scottish distillery in the 1970, but the quality of the Whisky wasn’t high regarded. Ups and downs followed and after been new positioned from 2000 onwards Tomatin grew to be one of the most reputable Scottish Whisky brands worldwide.

Kommentar: Ein ausgewogener Whisky, vielschichtig mit jedem weiteren Sip. Kann jeden für sich gewinnen, aber nicht nur ein "Frauenwhiskey" (süß und fruchtig, cremig).

Kommentar: Hatte gedacht das 40 % vol zu wenig sein könnten. Sind es aber bei diesem nicht. Sehr schöner Whisky
