Ron Millonario 10 Aniversario Reserva was created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the distillery. It also reflects the cheerful nightlife of Peru. About two-thirds of the rum is aged for 6 years in ex-bourbon casks and then blended with the remaining third, which is matured for 10 years in an ex-Oloroso sherry cask.
Ron Millonario is a Peruvian rum with a long history and tradition. In 1904, farmers in Hacienda Agrocila de Chivlayo began to grow their sugar, sell it and process it into rum in their own refinery. A century later, the Italian bottler Fabio Rossi discovered the land of the Incas and Ron Millonario on a journey. He and his brother exported the rum to Europe and finally to the whole world.

Aroma: Süße, reichhaltige und rosinenartige Noten.
Geschmack: Reichhaltig mit lieblichen Fruchtnoten von Bananen, Aprikosen und Rosinen, Vanille- und Schokoladenaromen kommen hinzu.

Kommentar: Sehr milder und leichter Vertreter, der rund und süffig ist. Für mich persönlich fehlt hier das gewisse Highlight. Eine Fruchtige Note z.B. durch ein Weinfass-Finish hätte ihm meiner Meinung nach sehr gut zu Gesicht gestanden und um einiges aufgewertet.
über 30€ sind für eine solide Basis dann doch etwas knackig. Daher "nur" 3,5 Sterne
