Abgang: Wärmend, Lang und Trocken.

Kommentar: In dieser Preisklasse ein sehr schmackhafter, empfehlenswerter Bourbon. Ausgewogen zwischen würzigen und süßen Noten, auch die 43% gereichen allemal. Pur sehr gut trinkbar. Nicht übermäßig komplex, kein erwähnenswerter Abgang, aber ich mag ihn. Mit gewissen Sorten Cola oder Ginger Ale sowie frischen Limetten, entwickelt der Old Forester delikate Marzipannoten.

Geschmack: Verschiede Lagen Rohrzucker, etwas Minze und Roggenwürze.

Abgang: Deutliche Bitterkeit bei meiner Flasche, aber nicht unangenehm. Immer noch süß.

Kommentar: Ein guter, immer noch günstiger Bourbon. Macht neugierig auf teurere Flaschen von Old Forester.Sweet Mint Rye Oak
