The Gaelic word 'Oban' means 'Little Bay' in English and 'small bay' in German. The place is the home town of the distillery.

Kommentar: Ein schöner runder Whisky. Ich hatte aber auch ein bisschen Rauch erwartet ( für den Übergangswhisky zwischen Islay und Mainland), jedoch keinen gefunden. Daher „nur“ 3,5 Sterne von mir.
