	Variété	Single malt whisky
	Arôme	Rich and tropical, with a combination of pears, vanilla, candied orange peel, honeysuckle, grapefruit and old pear sweets. Gentle spicy notes of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, followed by further sweetness such as maple syrup and crème brûlée.
	Bouche	Creamy and viscous, with crème brûlée, cherry chocolate, fudge, fresh orange sorbet, clove, sweet chilli and voluminous hints of ripe tropical fruit. Oak wood, maple syrup, almond marzipan and gentle spices are added.
	Finale	Rich, sweet and spicy with a mouth-filling, almost viscous viscosity.

Glenmorangie Triple Cask Reserve was matured for the first time in three different types of cask. Ex-bourbon, new charred oak and former rye casks were used. This single malt is an excellent introduction to the world of whisky and is part of Glenmorangie's core range. Dr Bill Lumdsen's distillery has the tallest stills in Scotland, with necks reminiscent of a giraffe. This makes the character of the single malts from the Highland distillery significantly fruitier.

Kommentar: PLV in Ordnung. Wenig Frucht, deutlich rye und Würze

Aroma: Viel Frucht (Pfirsich/Zitrone, Birne, grüner Apfel) Roggen-Würze, Süße und frischem Malz. Sanft und schmeichelnd in der Nase.

Geschmack: Fruchtig, würzig und deutlich malzig: Kandierte Früchte mit Schokolade oder leichtem Nougat.

Abgang: Mittel. Sanfte Eichenfracht mit einer guten würzigen Roggennote die ins leichte zartbittere Thema (Mokka) übergeht.

Kommentar: Gefällt mir geschmacklich besser als der 10-Jährige! Vor allem die deutlich Würze durch den Roggen-Whisky und die frischen ausgebrannten Fässer geben ihm sein tolles Geschmackfeeling. Preis/Leistung sehr solide. Für Anfänger wie Fortgeschrittene geeignet.

Experiment: 1/3 10er, 1/3 X und 1/3 Spios kommt schon ungefähr hin, 1/6 10er, 1/6 Tribute, 1/3 X und 1/3 Spios ist deutlich zu rauchig. Die "Noten von Torf" sind wohl eher Schmutz vom Rye. Aber irgendwie wirkt der selbstgeblendete Triple Cask immer etwas reifer und runder.
