Glenmorangie Triple Cask Reserve was matured for the first time in three different types of cask. Ex-bourbon, new charred oak and former rye casks were used. This single malt is an excellent introduction to the world of whisky and is part of Glenmorangie's core range. Dr Bill Lumdsen's distillery has the tallest stills in Scotland, with necks reminiscent of a giraffe. This makes the character of the single malts from the Highland distillery significantly fruitier.

The stretch of land in the Northern Highland on which Glenmorangie stands has been the site for alcohol production (mostly illicit) since the Middle Ages, setting a formidable legacy. Glenmorangie was founded in 1843, although operation didn’t start until 1849.

Geschmack: Cremig und zähflüssig, mit Crème Brûlée, Kirschschokolade, Fudge, frischem Orangensorbet, Nelke, süßer Chili und voluminösen Anklängen von reifen tropischen Früchten. Eichenholz, Ahornsirup, Mandelmarzipan und sanfte Gewürze kommen hinzu.
Abgang: Reichhaltig, süß und würzig mit ein mundumhüllenden, fast zähflüssigen Viskosität.
