Aroma Medicinal - Smoky, with a hint of seaweed.
Taste Smoky, sweet-medicinal-phenolic, salty.
Finish Long lasting and pronounced.
Ardmore Port Wood Finish:
Aroma Summery fruity with strawberries. Also oranges, cinnamon and a little pepper.
Taste Sweet and slightly smoky with apples and honey.
Finish Soft, smoky and dry.

Father Christmas is coming soon! And we'll give him a fitting welcome with a Santa Live Tasting - although he's kindly bringing the whisky himself. But as he'll be descending to us through the chimney as usual, you can expect smoky aromas! Bowmore 12 is held together by the unmistakable Bowmore smokiness, while lemons, honey and chocolate provide the sweetness. Laphroaig 10, on the other hand, is characterised by medicinal smoke with distinct phenolic and maritime notes. The third in the group is Ardmore Port Wood Finish, which tastes only slightly smoky and at the same time summery-fruity of strawberries and pepper due to the maturation in sweet wine casks.
