This Edradour Eilean Dubh "The Dark One" single malt whisky is a new edition of a sold-out special bottling from the Edradour Distillery. The cask-strength Highland whisky matured in former sherry casks and is an insider tip for connoisseurs. It was named after the Gaelic term for "black island", which in turn is due to the dark mahogany colour of the single malt.

Near the Edradour distillery lie the ruins of the Lindores Ruins. This is the birthplace of Aquavite (water of life) that later became the Whisky we know. Edradour is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland.

Ich habe immer das Gefühl, dass hier die Fässer nicht ganz trocken gewesen sind. Hat mich leider nicht so überzeugen können und dazu ist der Preis schon etwas ambitioniert
