Cruzloma London Dry Gin

In Ecuador, the name Cruzloma, which means mountain peak cross, is closely associated with a mountain peak in the volcanic mountains near the capital Quito and an important battle for the independence of the South American country. Cruzloma London Dry Gin is distilled by hand just north of Quito, directly on the equator, using a 200-litre pot still still. The exotic gin combines a dominant juniper character with hints of botanicals from Europe, Asia and the Amazon region in Ecuador. These include leaves of the guayusa plant from the rainforest and coca leaves from the Andes. Together with 12 other botanicals, these ingredients ferment in a sugar cane distillate. After distillation, Cruzloma is diluted with volcanic water to an aromatic 44% vol. which gives its citrusy profile an assertive flavour.
