The Botran Reserva Especial No. 15 is produced in Guatemala from Virgin Cane sugar cane and matured in the solera process. The principle of solera maturation is known from sherry, brandy and wine production. For this, several rows of oak barrels of different ages are stacked on top of each other and only the oldest row (the one at the bottom) is used to extract the respective liquid.
