Unlike the younger standard bottlings, the 18-year-old AnCnoc also matured in sherry casks. The Highland single malt Scotch whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured and comes in a slim tube.

Aroma: getrocknete Citrusfrucht (Orange, Zitrone) / leichter Hauch von Leder / exotische Fruchtnote (Physalis, Maracuja?)

Geschmack: nussig an der Zungenflanke (Bittermandel?) / Bergamotte / kandierte Orangenschale

Abgang: Sherryfass / holziger Abgang, lange herbes Gefühl im Mund / ga(aaa)z leichter Rauch

Kommentar: Toller runder Whisky, sehr empfehlenswert. Preislich vertretbar, aber kein Schnäppchen.

Aroma: Reichhaltig, dunkle Früchte, leichte Süße, Würznoten, Orangenanklänge.

Geschmack: Weich, tief, vielschichtig. Die Orangennoten kontrastieren wunderbar mit der Fasswürze und den Sherry-Aromen. Ein Genuss!

Abgang: Lang, trockener werdend, wärmend.

Kommentar: Ein toller Whisky, super ausgewogen und tiefgründig. Den Preis absolut wert.
