	12 years Aroma: Pleasantly sweet with honey, a hint of pineapple, toasted aromas and cereals. Taste: Syrupy and sweet. Flattering mouthfeel. Finish: Syrupy and sweet. Flattering mouthfeel.
	16 years Aroma: Sherry and spice with cloves and fruitcake. Taste: Citrus with the sweetness of honey and some dark chocolate. Finish: Persistent and complex. Cask type: Finished in first fill Oloroso sherry casks.
	21 years Aroma: Heather and honey, followed by delicate vanilla and toasted oak. Taste: Very voluminous with notes of oranges. Finish: Long, delicately smoky, smooth and dry. Cask type: Ex-Bourbon and sherry casks.

Aroma:

Malzig, honigsüß, leicht floral und ein paar helle Früchte (Birne?). Sehr viel mehr kommt da aber auch nicht.

Geschmack:

Sehr süß, prickelnde Gewürze, wieder ordentliche Malzigkeit.

Abgang:

Auch im Abgang sehr süß, leicht tropisch. Gewürznoten bieten einen Kontrast, ein Hauch von Eiche.

Kommentar: insgesamt sehr süffig, sehr leicht, tut niemandem weh. Für den Preis ein ordentlicher Einsteigerwhisky, aber halt auch ohne Ecken und Kanten und dadurch leider irgendwie beliebig.

Der Aberfeldy 12 Jahre ist ein bemerkenswerter Single Malt Whisky aus den schottischen Highlands, der durch seine ausgewogene Mischung aus süßen Honignoten, reifen Früchten und einer dezenten Würze besticht. In der Nase bieten sich Aromen von Heidehonig und reifen Äpfeln dar, während der Gaumen durch eine cremige Textur mit Noten von Zitrusfrüchten, Vanille und Eiche überzeugt. Der Abgang ist langanhaltend, warm und angenehm süß. Insgesamt ist der Aberfeldy 12 Jahre ein zugänglicher und vielseitiger Whisky, der sowohl Einsteiger als auch erfahrene Genießer begeistert.
