Wolfburn Batch 177 takes its name from Warehouse 1, where the barrels in Row 77 were matured. 8 year old First Fill Bourbon barrels and 7 year old First Fill Caribbean Rum barrels were married together for the sweet and fruity creation. Wolfburn is the most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland and the logo features a wolf, whose related mythical creature, the so-called 'sea wolf', is said to bring good luck to all who set eyes on it.

La distillerie: Wolfburn

Wolfburn is the northernmost distillery on the Scottish mainland. It was originally built in 1821 but had to close again in the course of the 19th century and today only ruins of the old complex remain. In 2011, a new distillery was built not far from the ruins and in the meantime the production volume has returned to the same level as in the 19th century. The logo features a wolf, whose related mythical creature, the so-called 'sea wolf', is said to bring good luck to all those who set eyes on it.
