During the production of Blackforest Spiced Rum Barrique, sugar cane molasses from Paraguay meets Black Forest spring water. Fermentation and open storage for several weeks give the rum its fruity, complex and spicy aromas. After double distillation in copper Pot Stills, it is matured for six years in six different barrels.

An ancestor of Max Wild, who runs the distillery today, began producing fruit brandies as early as 1855. The first Whisky distillation took place in 2002. In addition, the distillery from the Black Forest also produces Gin and Rum.
