Master taster Ben Lüning and Tullibardine Brand Ambassador Mr Marcel Uhrig from Whiskymax will be tasting three popular Single Malts from the Highland distillery on 5 December 2025 from 19:00. Our experts will be live streaming the 15-year-old Tullibardine matured in Bourbon casks, the 18-year-old Tullibardine matured in first-fill Bourbon and sherry casks and the Tullibardine 228 Burgundy Finish, which was matured in Château de Chassagne Montrachet Red Burgundy casks. The variety of flavours is characterised by the precise barrel selection and the long maturation periods and ranges from vanilla-creamy to fruity and spicy with sweetish malt components. Find out what our experts have to say about these Single Malts and order your Tullibardine tasting set now so that you can try them on the tasting day. With the large or small Tullibardine Live Event Set, you are ideally equipped for the tasting and can take part in the tasting day via Whisky.de/LIVE or via our YouTube channel. Afterwards, the tasting will take place in English with Mr Maximilian Kling, who works as a freelancer and is also very familiar with Tullibardine. The Distillery: Tullibardine
Tullibardine is actually not the oldest Scottish Distillery but regarding the first step of the Whisky production it is one of the Methuselahs of the business: The visit of King James 4th of Scotland of the local brewery situated here before is known as the first recorded purchase of Beer. That was in 1488, long before in 1949 the first spirit was distilled here at Tullibardine in Perthshire.
