Product description
The Tamnavulin Red Wine Cask Edition is matured in casks that previously contained Cabernet Sauvignon. After the finish, the malt is married again in bourbon barrels for harmonisation, resulting in a sweet and nutty Single Malt that also contains fruity facets of berries and citrus. Tamnavulin was built in 1966 in the rural village of Tomnavoulin (Scotland). It was closed almost three decades later. After extensive renovation, the reopening was celebrated in 2007.
