	Variety	Single malt whisky
	Aroma	Notes of candied citrus fruits, dark chocolate, roasted coffee and a hint of hops.
	Taste	Balanced sweetness, notes of ripe apples and pears, a deep malt flavour reminiscent of toasted bread, with light hints of caramel and vanilla.
	Finish	Harmonious blend of herbs and hops, a fine, slightly bitter finish from the various beer barrels.
	Maturation	American oak barrels and Bavarian beer barrels

This year's Oktoberfest Edition 2024 from the Bavarian distillery Slyrs was given a nine-month finish in beer barrels from Bavarian craft beer breweries. Barrels in which beers with very intense and strong flavours were stored were primarily used for this.

The Distillery: Slyrs

Located at the Schliersee lake, Slyrs Distillery ranks among the best-known whisky distilleries in Germany. Its name is derived from the old name of the region. The first Whisky was already distilled on the stills of the traditional Lantenhammer distillery in 1999, but in 2007 Slyrs Whisky found its home in the newly erected Slyrs Distillery in Neuhaus. read more

Aroma: Noten von kandierten Zitrusfrüchten, dunkler Schokolade, geröstetem Kaffee und einem Hauch von Hopfen.

Geschmack: Ausgewogene Süße, Noten von reifen Äpfeln und Birnen, ein tiefes Malzaroma, das an geröstetes Brot erinnert, mit leichten Anklängen von Karamell und Vanille.

Abgang: Harmonische Mischung aus Kräutern und Hopfen, ein feiner, leicht herber Abgang aus den verschiedenen Bierfässern.
