The Seven Seals Peated Pedro Ximénez & Hickory Wood Finish is a high-quality single malt spirit from Switzerland, produced by the Seven Seals Distillery in Graubünden. The innovative distillery stands for modern cask maturation, precision craftsmanship and the deliberate use of exceptional types of wood, which clearly sets its bottlings apart from classic whiskies. This peated single malt spirit combines elegant peat smoke notes with the intense sweetness of a Pedro Ximénez sherry finish. The additional maturation in hickory wood, a type of wood similar to walnut, gives it a striking depth, spicy warmth and an expression full of character. Despite its complexity, the interplay of flavours always remains harmonious and balanced. On the palate, it is soft, complex and expressive, with subtle hints of smoke, dark fruit flavours and a pleasant woody spiciness. With a few drops of water, the flavour profile opens up further and reveals its full complexity.     Aroma: Walnussnoten treffen auf filigrane Malzaromen und eine dezente Fruchtsüße, die von Kaffee ummantelt ist.

    Geschmack: Anklänge von geröstetem Holz verschmelzen mit süsslichen und würzigen Sherryfacetten und Torfrauch.
