Säntis Dreifaltigkeit is the smoky edition from the Swiss distillery Locher. For this, the malt is kilned over a mixture of raised bog peat, apple, beech and oak chips. After maturing in beer barrels for several years, the Swiss malt is bottled.

    Kommentar: Ein sehr interessanter Whisky, der absoluten Charakter hat. Das mit dem geräucherten Aal, Teer und herben Noten kann ich nur bestätigen, leider gab es das als Icon nicht zum auswählen.
    Für manche wahrscheinlich zu intensiv, aber so in der Intensität noch nicht getrunken. Für alle die mal was aussergewöhnliches suchen.
    Ein Tipp, mit etwas Wasser aufspalten, dann kommen die Aromen richtig zur Geltung. Außerdem harmonieren die Aal, Teer und Rauchnoten mit der Süße besser.
