Taste The smoke dominates, followed by caramel and a delicate vanilla. Behind it already clear oak.
Finish Long with strong peat smoke.
Maturation Predominantly American ex-bourbon casks with a generous addition of European ex-sherry casks.

Product description
Ballechin is the smoky bottling range from the Edradour distillery and was named after a now closed farmhouse distillery. This bottling is the first 10-year-old since the beginning of 2003 and therefore has no vintage. The whisky is heavily smoky and has been matured mainly in ex-bourbon casks, as well as a small portion in Oloroso sherry casks.
