Product description

This Macallan is the second release under the motto 'A Night On Earth in Scotland' and was bottled on the occasion of the Scottish New Year's Eve, in Gaelic Hogmanay. The Single Malt is matured in a selection of American and European oak sherry casks as well as American ex-bourbon casks. The special gift box was designed by the Japanese-French illustrator Erica Dorn, who usually works for luxury brands and film. For this Macallan special edition, she was inspired by the 'first footing' tradition. On New Year's Eve on 31 December, the 'first footer' carries three items to comfort the respective recipient. These include shortbread, whisky and coal for the fire.
