Product description
Laphroaig stands for intensely smoky malts - so it's no wonder that the Islay distillery places great importance on its own peat. The hand-cut peat is first dried for three months and then used to dry the grain on Laphroaig's own malting floors. In the live tasting, we sample three of the smoky creations: The 10 year old classic, the Cask Lore partly matured in sherry casks and quarter casks and Oak Select with proportions of all known Laphroaig bottlings (10 year old, PX Cask, Quarter Cask and Triple Wood).

Der Laphroaig 10 ist kein Whisky, der gefallen will. Er ist eigenständig, kompromisslos und für viele der Punkt, an dem man merkt, ob man Islay liebt. Ein ehrlicher Klassiker, der immer wieder beeindruckt, wenn man ihm die Bühne gibt, die er verdient.
