Product description
This Highlands Park comes from a single refill butt in which it was allowed to mature for 18 long years. Benedikt Lüning selected this cask on site during his visit to the distillery. The limited bottling was bottled exclusively for Whisky.de and promises sweet notes of oranges as well as slight peat smoke accents in the Taste. Calcium oxcillate accumulated on the bottom of the bottles, which can be normal for single casks.

    Abgang: leichter Rauch, Süß- lange anhaltend

    Kommentar: super dunkle Farbe, ein Augenschmaus, Zeit nehmen, er ist vielschichtig und jede Schicht ist es wert entdeckt zu werden
    Mit etwas Wasser entwickelt sich der Whisky, (zuerst leichte Schärfe mit Kaffee und etwas Rum wie Tiramisu, später tiefer gehend, voller)

    Aroma: Der erste Eindruck ist, dass er unheimlich schwer und unheimlich dunkel und unheimlich alt ist; der beginnt mit ziemlich intensiven Eindrücken von stark gereiften Früchten und Trockenfrüchten; erst nach und nach entfaltet sich eine deutliche Orange, und zwar die ganze Orange mitsamt dem Fruchtfleisch und der Schale.

    Geschmack: Im Mund fast vanillig süss beginnend, dann kommt die Frucht der Orange, danach die Schale der Orange, und dann nach und nach immer mehr Gewürze.

    Abgang: Im Abgang steigert sich die Gewürznote ins Unendliche und bleibt super lange haften.

    Kommentar: Das ist Whisky-Kunst in Vollendung.
