Matured for 14 years in a first fill white port cask, this Glenlossie was bottled by the independent bottler Brave New Spirits in the Cask Masters series. In this series, Single Malts from well-known and popular distilleries are bottled as single casks. A distinction is also made between the Golden Proof, Distiller's Cut and Rare & Exclusive labels. Golden Proof includes single cask bottlings with a focus on first fill casks at low prices, Distiller's Cut focusses on the respective distillery character, while Rare & Exclusive includes limited bottlings from very rare casks. Sometimes the whiskies are bottled at cask strength, sometimes at the strength that best suits the corresponding bottling. Different cask types and pre-seasoning of the casks ensure a wide spectrum of aromas and flavours to bring the consistently high quality of the Single Malts to the fore. The Glenlossie is bottled as a Distiller's Cut at natural cask strength without chill-filtering and without the addition of colour.
The Cask Masters series was inspired by Kirigami, a traditional Japanese paper-cutting technique known for its precision and attention to detail. Independent bottler Brave New Spirits uses this concept to symbolise the careful selection process of its 2025 whisky range - from cask selection to bottling.
