The Distillery: Glenfiddich
Glenfiddich is Scotland's best-known and most successful distillery. It is located in the heart of Speyside, in Dufftown to be precise. Also known as "The Giant", it has an impressive annual production capacity of 21 million litres. No other Single Malt is as popular worldwide. Kommentar: Er gehört sicher zu den Whiskys die auch im Supermarkt erhältlich sind, aber das trübt seine Qualität nicht. Gerade für Einsteiger sehr geeignet durch seine fruchtige Gefälligkeit.
Jedem der mit Whisky einsteigen will und nicht gleich mit zu hoher Komplexität konfrontiert werden möchte, dem Qualität aber wichtig ist, ist dieser Whisky zu empfehlen.
