Aroma Soft and caressing on the nose, fruit meets caramel and vanilla, excellently integrated alcohol notes merge into sweetness and spicy notes flash in the background.
Taste Pleasantly intense, warming spicy notes that move towards floral accents with the sweetness of stewed fruit, which in turn are enveloped by soft toffee undertones.
Finish Medium length and delicate.

This Glenfarclas was bottled for travel retail and matured for 11 years in sherry casks from the legendary Glenfarclas Dunnage Warehouses, allowing it to soak up sweet, fruity and delicately nutty oak flavours. 46% vol. and the bottle size of one litre ensure excellent moments of enjoyment in natural colour and without chill-filtering. This special Glenfarclas Single Malt has been filled in 1 litre bottles for extensive enjoyment.

The Glenfarclas distillery was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay and is one of the best-known and most successful family-run distilleries in Scotland. The owner family Grant is proud of its private status, which is reflected in the distillery's slogan ‘The Spirit of Independence’. Since 1865, the fifth generation of the Grant family has been shaping the history of the Glenfarclas distillery. This long family tradition guarantees consistent quality and the necessary foresight for a long-lasting product such as Whisky. Leichter Sherryeinfluss, nicht überladen. GF Charakter ist aber definitiv da. Er ist das fehlende Bindestück zwischen dem 12er und 15er. Durch die 1 Liter Flasche definitiv gutes PLV

Wer einen guten Single Malt sucht mit Glenfarclas Noten und sehr guten PLV und Eckdaten hat hier einen guten Malt gefunden.
