Aroma The scent of wet hemp rope with bitumen-enriched wood notes and rich facets of sun-dried fruits that blend dryly with some oak in the background.
Taste Balanced with a combination of sultanas, tobacco and caramelised muscovado sugar. This is followed by sweet dried figs and distinctly earthy notes.
Finish Long, sweet and pleasantly dry with some oak.

Product description
This Glen Scotia was bottled exclusively for a German importer to mark its 50th anniversary. The non-smoky whisky spent its maturation period of 8 years in a second fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butt. The Glen Scotia distillery was founded in Campbeltown in 1832. The use of traditional copper stills creates the fruity and spicy flavours typical of Glen Scotia, which are intensified by maturation in single casks.

Aroma: Der Duft von nassem Hanfseil mit Bitumen angereicherte Holznoten und reichhaltige Facetten von sonnengetrockneten Früchten, die trocken mit etwas Eiche im Hintergund verschmelzen.

Geschmack: Ausbalanciert mit einer Kombination aus Sultaninen, Tabak und karamellisierten Muscovado-Zucker. Es folgen süße getrocknete Feigen und deutlich Erdige Noten.

Abgang: Lang, süß und angenehm trocken mit etwas Eiche.
