Product description

The Glen Scotia distillery was founded in Campbeltown in 1832. The use of traditional copper stills creates the fruity and spicy flavours typical of Glen Scotia. The Glen Scotia Exclusive Society Edition PX & Oloroso Finish is a Campbeltown Single Malt that is limited to just 1,698 bottles worldwide and is bottled at natural cask strength, uncoloured and non-chill-filtered. The 11-year-old whisky initially matured in bourbon casks before being finished in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks. Its sherry-influenced character gives it complex flavours of sweetness, spice and maritime freshness. This expressive, multi-layered Single Malt is a real highlight for collectors and connoisseurs.

Geschmack: Vollmundig und reich mit süßer Vanille, Rosinen und warmen Gewürzen, die an winterliches Gebäck erinnern.

Abgang: Lang, nussig und trocken. Ein elegantes Zusammenspiel aus ausgeprägtem Sherry-Einfluss und klassischem Campbeltown-Charakter.
