This Edradour Single Malt spent 12 years in Pinot Noir barrels from the famous St. Eppan winery in South Tyrol. Pinot Noir is a red wine that is characterised by its fruity, nutty notes and earthy accents and is considered one of the finest and most sophisticated red wines in the world. The Edradour whisky benefited from these versatile flavour facets and literally soaked up the aromas of red fruits and spices. The single malt from the Highland distillery was bottled at 48.2% vol. without chill-filtering and without the addition of colouring in a limited edition. The Highland malt is ideal for enjoying yourself, collecting or giving as a gift to a whisky connoisseur among friends or acquaintances.

The Distillery: Edradour
The Edradour distillery is one of Scotland's most traditional Whisky distilleries and was once the smallest in the country. It is idyllically situated on the River Edradour, surrounded by hills east of Pitlochry. Exceptional Highland Single Malt Whiskies are produced here using traditional methods that are hardly practised in any other distillery.

Herstellerbeschreibungon 04.03.2026Aroma: Kirschen und Johannisbeeren führen das Aroma an und werden dabei von feinen Vanillenoten und einer dezenten Eichenwürze begleitet.
Geschmack: Voll, samtig und elegant mit reifen roten Früchten. Milde Gewürze und eine leicht spritzige Süße folgen mit dezenter Nusswürze.
Abgang: Langanhaltend mit erneut fruchtig-beerigen Noten und würzigen Anklängen von Eichenholz.
