Canaima Small Batch Gin has its origins in the Amazon rainforest. In addition to the classic Gin botanicals juniper, lemon and orange peel, angelica root or coriander, herbs and fruits from the Amazon are also distilled: Palm fruits such as acai and seje, merey - a resin made from leaves of the cashew tree - or the fruit of the moriche palm, known as the 'love fruit' due to its high content of female hormones. To protect the Amazon rainforest, 0.50 EUR per bottle of Canaima Gin sold supports the work of advocacy groups and networks that volunteer for reforestation and indigenous communities in the Amazon rainforest.

Kommentar: Bin absolut kein Kenner von Gin, dieser hier hat mir sofort geschmeckt. Meiner Freundin hat er sogar sehr gut geschmeckt.
Wir haben (auf Empfehlung aus dem Internet) nach der Pur-Verkostung das Botanical Tonic von Thomas Henry + Gurke / Zitronenschale damit kombiniert, das hat mir persönlich sehr gut geschmeckt.
Meine Freundin hat Grapefruit-Limonade (+ kleiner Spritzer Angostura) bevorzugt. Für den Preis ist das sicherlich ein schönes Upgrade zu den Alternativen aus dem Supermarkt-Regal!
UPDATE:
Im Vergleich zu anderem Gin, den ich probiert habe, hebt sich dieser geschmacklich und geruchlich mit fast jedem Filler (ob Tonic oder anderes) noch deutlich hervor, ohne, dass mal große Mengen verwenden muss.
