Product description
For the Bowmore Sherry Oak Collection, the slightly smoky Single Malts from the Islay distillery are matured in hand-selected Oloroso sherry casks and ex-Bourbon casks and finally finished in Oloroso sherry casks. The design reflects the exceptionally expressive and multi-layered nature of Bowmores' flavour character through morphic lines. The traditional black colour of the brand pays homage to the Black Bowmore, which was distilled in 1964.

    Kommentar: Hatte die Flasche direkt nach Erscheinen mit hohen Erwartungen gekauft. Nachdem die ersten Tasting notes im Internet erschienen wurde ich schon skeptisch. Jetzt selbst probiert. Was für eine Enttäuschung. In der Nase Sherry mit etwas aschigem Lagerfeuer. Im Mund wässrige Konsistenz mit etwas Sherry und Rauch. Abgang bis auf etwas Rauch, der zurückbleibt, quasi nicht vorhanden. Würde ich mir für unter 30,- € vielleicht noch eingehen lassen, aber bei dem Preis schon fast frech.
